Meet Liliana Miranda: A Journey of Empathy and Empowerment
Origins and Personal Career
Hello and welcome, I am Liliana Miranda, the heart and soul behind our immigration consulting firm. My story begins in Guadalajara, Mexico, from where I embarked on a transformative journey to Los Angeles with my family at a young age. Growing up in a vibrant Mexican household in Los Angeles, while frequently visiting my grandparents in Jalisco, instilled in me a deep appreciation for my rich cultural heritage. This deep-rooted connection to my background prompted me to study Spanish Language and Latin American Studies at UC Berkeley. My passion for understanding and connecting cultures took me even further down the path of legal support and advocacy, culminating in a law degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Commitment to the Community and Social Activism
My commitment to social causes led me to co-found the Jalisco Federation of San Francisco, an organization dedicated to serving the Jalisco community in California. This role has allowed me to forge invaluable relationships with government officials throughout Mexico. Over two decades, these ties have become a powerful asset in solving my clients’ problems in Mexico, leveraging connections at the state, federal and municipal levels.
En 2013, me vi impulsada a iniciar mi propia firma de consultoría de inmigración en México, movida por un descubrimiento que definiría mi carrera: cientos de niños ciudadanos estadounidenses, viviendo sin documentación en México después de que sus padres fueran deportados de Estados Unidos. Estos “Dreamers” de México, al igual que yo, han crecido entre dos mundos, anhelando un sentido de pertenencia e identidad. Mi viaje personal refleja el de mis clientes. Habiendo navegado por el proceso de inmigración legal yo misma, entiendo íntimamente los desafíos y barreras enfrentados al vivir entre dos países. Esta perspectiva única ha sido instrumental para ayudar a esos niños, ahora adultos, a recuperar su identidad estadounidense y asegurar la residencia legal para sus familias. Nuestro trabajo no se detiene allí; también asistimos en la búsqueda de empleo en EE. UU., asegurando una transición más suave hacia un futuro esperanzador.

Being raised and educated in the United States, with frequent visits to Mexico, has given me a bicultural and bilingual identity. This dual perspective is not only a part of who I am, it is a crucial tool in my mission to help clients bridge the gap between their American dreams and their Mexican roots. I am excited to guide our clients through their journey, offering not only legal advice, but a bridge to a brighter future, inspired by my own experiences and motivated by a lifelong dedication to empowerment and empathy.
